Message: Hi: It's hard to believe that 40 years have gone by since our graduation.
Yes, 40 years and looking through my 1969 annual brings back great memories and a lot of questions about old friends and what they're doing now. Needless to say, immeasurable events and changes have taken place and we are a far cry from those days at Pleasant Hill.
I moved back to Canada a few years after graduating and have settled in Kelowna, BC. This is where I raised my son and daughter who are now married. My husband Norm has two children and we have four grandchildren and one to come very soon.
I have enjoyed working for the Canada Revenue Agency for 15 years. My current position as a Conflict Resolution Advisor, provides opportunity to learn and travel on a regular basis and I hope to retire in a few years and work as a private mediator.
We're lucky to live in a beautiful tourist area - the best place in Canada - and feel doubly blessed to have so many friends here as well as some from Pleasant Hill who we see often.
I hope you are all well and that you are interested in getting together for a 40th class reunion in August of '09. There is a group of us working on this project and if you are interested or if you'd just like to get in touch with some of your old classmates please contact me.
Take care and wishing you well.......Jan Borchert Cornell

David L. Jordan
Marital Status: married
Spouse Name: Ann Ranta (Astoria), married for 33 years.
Children: two children. Alisa, 27 years old, and Erin, 25 years old.
Occupation: I worked for McCormick and Company for 27 years, 6 in Salinas, CA and 21 in Maryland. I was the National Transportation Manager for the Company. Now I work for ConAgra Foods.
Comments: Since my initial update in 2003, I have retired from McCormick & Co. after 27 years. Since I was too young to really retire, I took a position with ConAgra Foods in Omaha, NE. Yes, that right -- Omaha. We are on the Oregon Trail but as my wife, Ann, for 35 years, says, our wagon broke down about 1600 miles too soon. We do have a piece of dirt on the Washington coast; we still plan to make it to the West in about 5 years. Actually, Ann and I have enjoyed exploring the Midwest and Omaha is a nice town. Our two daughters, Alisa, 27, and Erin, 25, have graduated from college and are on their own. I have lost contact with most classmates but would like to hear from anyone passing through Omaha.
