    2055 Broadview St.
    Eugene, OR 97405-1309

    Marital Status:Married:
Spouse Name: Jane (Taylor) Broderick -- P.Hill Class of 1969
    Children: Ben 1980, Max 1985

Occupation: Promotion Director / News Director / Public Relations Director FOX & UPN Television, Eugene (KLSR-TV FOX-34, KEVU-TV UPN-25), A Division of California - Oregon Broadcasting, Inc., Medford, OR

Comments: Jane and I have stayed in Lane County because we just like living here and it's been a good place to raise kids. My post PHHS degrees include an AS/Electronic Engineering Technician, from LCC and a BS/ Telecom-munications and Film, from the UO.
My TV career started at Group-W Cable (now AT&T Cable), Eugene, in Creative Services. I moved to Advertising Sales and enjoyed success, but found I preferred working with the production of video and programming more than worrying about the commercial side of the industry.
Armed with that realization, I joined the News team at KMTR-TV (NBC-16) as a Producer/ Reporter.
I've been with FOX since KLSR-TV signed on the air in 1986, except for a brief hiatus in 1992, when I produced news at KVAL-TV (CBS-13). My current station group -- California-Oregon Broadcasting, Inc., based in Medford -- added KEVU-TV to its holdings following my return. COBI then built a new, "point-and-click," automated, digital facility that operates both the FOX & UPN stations with computers and whopping-big servers.
I basically create the public face and on-air image for the two stations.
I'm a notorious vegetable gardener. Give me a wok, and I'll stir fry a wicked almond-chicken. I find true contentment on a boat -- I'm happy simply tied up to the dock, just as long as I'm floating on the water. Jane and I enjoy travel and regularly visit Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and the ski slopes around California's Lake Tahoe.
Jane is a guidance counselor at Springfield High School. Ben (19) is a sophomore at LCC after graduating with the class of '99 at Churchill High School in Eugene. Max (15) is a sophomore at Springfield High School (where Jane can keep an eye on him). We found Cloud Dancer in 1992 and moved in to enjoy the south hills of Eugene with a view of downtown, the Coburg Hills and the Cascades --including the Three Sisters.
