Comments: I was married for 20 years and thought that would be my life, but things change and I ended up back in the workforce in 1999. Of all the things I've learned through the years it is the fact that in the end it will be the relationships I remember and not the jobs I have had :)

We have had a very colorful life, with many trips on dad's psychedelic bus taking it to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Canada, and even a tour of the United Kingdom. In 2000 we moved to Peasant Hill, just few miles from the farm. We are proud to have Caleb enrolled at Pleasant Hill; he is a good student, and a [statewide] chess champion.

Occupation: Biomedical Engineer at MetroHealth Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio
Message: After 12 years in college, I finally finished a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in 1991. I am a researcher in an area called "Functional Electrical Stimulation", which involves using small levels of stimulation to activate paralyzed muscles. I work primarily with people who are quadriplegic (both arms and legs paralyzed). You can check out my work website if you're interested to learn more about that. As you can imagine, with five kids, I also spend a lot of time running after kids. My wife grew up in Cleveland and was a special education teacher until she became a full-time mom. I enjoy being a dad because I get to play with all my kids' toys. I also enjoy woodworking, if I ever have the chance. I'm also an occasional preacher at my church. And finally, how come Mr. Adams still looks the same and I'm bald, fat and have a hairy chin??? [Uh, Kevin, it's all the chemicals in the back chemical storeroom preserving the carcass of the chemistry teacher -- didn't you know there was a reason for the smell of the chemistry room?]
