  • What is the Registration/Enrollment timeline?

Phase 1 High-Priority Transfer Period

       March 1 to May 31, 2024: Transfer applications will be accepted for Phase 1 Transfers beginning March 1.

  • Applicants are placed on a tiered priority list to be entered into a lottery system: (1) Siblings of a current Pleasant Hill school student and (2) new applicants.
  • June 3, 2024 Lottery drawing for inter-district transfers and family notification begins.
  • Students not being accepted during the Phase 1 process will be placed on a waitlist.
  • Phase 1 Transfer requests are granted as long as space is available at the requested school and grade level.
  • All transfer students must reapply if their family moves from the address given for the original transfer.

Phase 2 Late Summer Transfer Period

       August 1 to August 23, 2024: Transfer applications will be accepted for Phase 2 Transfers beginning August 1.

  • Available spots filled with Phase 1 waitlist. Remaining Phase 2 applicants are placed into a lottery system draw beginning August 26, 2024.
  • Students not placed during Phase 2 process will be added to the waitlist.
  • All transfer students must reapply if their family moves from the address given for the original transfer.

Phase 3 Mid-Year Transfer Period

        September 3, 2024: Transfer applications will be accepted for Phase 3 Mid-Year Transfers beginning September 5.

  • Mid-Year transfers not accepted will be placed on a waitlist.
  • All transfer students must reapply if their family moves from the address given for the original transfer.

Reapplying:

  • Students granted a Phase 1 High Priority or Phase 2 transfer may continue without reapplying.
  • However, students must reapply if they move from the originally approved address during the school year.
  • Transfers will not be considered to participate in extra-curricular or athletic activities.

  • What is considered "proof of residency?"

    To verify address, you must present ONE of the following current and ORIGINAL documents:

    • Utility bill (natural gas, water/sewer, garbage, electricity) dated within 30 days before registration date with the parent/guardian name and service address.
    • Rental or lease agreement with parent/guardian name, address, as well as manager or owner's name and phone number.
    • Property tax bill with parent/guardian name and property address.
    • Documents related to the purchase of the residence with parent/guardian name and property address.
